Web Content Manager

Palladian Partners is looking for an experienced web content manager for a temporary, full-time contracting position at a government research organization located in Bethesda, Maryland. The position requires a solid mix of analytical thinking, content development, and project management. Strong web writing and editing skills, attention to detail, customer service orientation, a background in biomedical sciences, and experience managing content for a large-scale website (3,500+ pages) are absolutely critical. Familiarity with 508 and other regulations pertaining to U.S. government websites will be needed.

Responsibilities will include drafting and editing content for the organization’s website; working with a wide variety of researchers and other content experts to develop and refine web content; coordinating the development of content across multiple experts and science writers; and developing and coordinating new media and multimedia content. Contractor will work onsite with the organization’s communications, IT, and research staff and will collaborate with Palladian’s in-house design team, interactive team, writers, and editors as needed.

Other required skills and experience:
* 5+ years writing and managing content for websites and various publications.
* 5+ years project management.
* Federal government experience.
* Multimedia and new media.

Project Director

  • Experience monitoring budgets and managing tight deadlines

Proofreader/Communications Associate

This entry-level position is perfect for someone who is very organized, has a knack for spotting errors, and wants to learn about health and science communications from the ground up.

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Outstanding eye for detail and command of English grammar and punctuation
  • Strong critical thinking skills
